had heard so many gd review on tas…but classes are limited esp in singpost. hope they can have more classes. dont mind to travel to amk but dont have classes for both my kids.


m on waiting list… but dont know how long do i need to wait. any place to suggest?

Besides the compo to memorize the phrases, does tas teach grammar and vocab separately for lower primary classes?

They cover 1 hour of writing and 1 hour of compre, grammar. They do vocab
at times. Usually every week, 1 compre will be covered and 1 grammar or
synthesis.

For TAS, how do they cater for GEP students? In higher level class or same level but of high ability class? Thanks.

I don’t think they have classes for GEPers, rather it’s based on the individual child’s ability in english. Eg P2s being placed in a class that teaches P4 stuff. I know there are P1s who are doing P2/P3 work.

My son is in GEP, he is with the high ability class, in his class there are non GEP students. They go quite fast for his class. He does one compo a week and now they are given 2 compres and some other worksheets. He enjoys the class and has started to apply the techniques taught to his daily work.

Yes that’s true, because they are building the MRT line in front the shopping centre so they keep changing the lanes as well. TAS’s East and AMK branches are more conveniently located.
