Yes I take turns with my hubby, in the sense that he does 20 hours, and I do 20 hours.
Too bad grandfather/grandmother cannot help out  -

I am doing PV without a reason..ie. just helping out. Do u think i am hoarding a place for parents who want to PV for their kids to get into the school? It suddenly dawned on me that I might think I am helping but ppl might hate me!!!! LOL... :?
mayb if ur worried, then u just let the support group know that ur not intending to put ur kids in that school lo...bt oso weird if they hear that frm u...most ppl wun do volunteering job for no good reason...

I believe there are many parents in Singapore that really want to help out with no ulterior motive. These are the ones that the schools would trust more than the once-in-a-lifetime PVs. I know of a few myself - heard from one of how she got the parents support group to implement some kind of a food-cart in school after observing some children who do not have money for buying food during recess. I was very touched by that. -

at the end of 40hrs school will issue pv a letter to prove that pv had commit for 40 hrs duties. also i know some parents from west grove pri had been a pv for all most 3 years at least very commited go to school at least thrice times a week. fully in charge all pv duties allocation, registration etc also when cone to any thing for pv applications these senior pv will be fully in charge no teacher involved . good in the sense that they really take the effort to do their job -

kudos to those PVs!deardear07:

Is there any Nanyang PV here? Or anyone who intends to try to apply for PV at NYPS?
