      Hi,

Understand that HPPS will be relocating to the (Former Raffles Junior College), from Jan 2012 to Jun 2013 due to upgrading, during this time, will the P1 & P2 still in pm session? I suppose all P1-6 students will relocate until Jun 2013?

Can anyone tell me what's the school hours for pm session?
Yes, PM school for P1 and P2 still at the holding campus.

As for school hours, I'm not sure. My DS only starting P1 next year ๐Ÿ˜‚

          Mummyo,

Yeah itโ€™s time to party for now.
Workload is pretty ok , compared to other schools I would even say less.
Which is what I personally like.

Dun worry about p1 preparedness. My advise is focus on the emotionals and other skills - u know handling things by himself, canteen etc. For academics , if check with his u2 teachers - if he can read and comprehend , other things will fall in place.

Lot more in this forum - my advice choose what is suitable for your child and you - donโ€™t over stress.
After all they are just 6+ , lower pri at least they should enjoyโ€ฆ

Thanks Sun_2010. Do you know if P1 & P2 have any CCA or need to go to school earlier for any programs?

I'm trying for HPPS at P2B tho it doesn't look good as only 28 vacancies this year. I'm really torn as Henry Park is my 1st choice but this year's intake has been reduced and Phase 1 and 2A already has lots of places taken up.

ATS wld have been my 2nd choice but will have to forego the place to try for HPPS. I've PV for a year to get into HPPS. I think I've clocked at least 80-100hours. If i fail this time then I'll have to do another year of PV next year for my 2nd child. I feel so tired and discouraged just thinking about it.

After I give up my 2A place at ATS and fail at 2B at HPPS then we will probably end up at Bukit Timah Primary School.

                Hi Mummyo,

Until the result is out, you still stand a chance at 2B. So, don't feel discouraged. I admire your persistence in clocking so many hours and will still do so for your 2nd child if need be. I do hope you'll be rewarded for your hard work.

Do share the outcome if it's ok with you. Take care.

We got in! SO HAPPPPYYYYY! :rahrah: :celebrate:[/quote]
Congrads!!!! Our kids might be classmates next year ... ๐Ÿ™‚

We are just looking forward to the school's orientation in November.

It would be good if parents of existing students at HPPS could advise what we should look out for during the orientation. Thanks ๐Ÿ™‚

Sure, maybe we can tell each other what clothes we are wearing nearer the date so we can look out for each other. haha ๐Ÿ™‚

Just got letter from school. Orientation is on Nov 17 at 830am. My son and I still sleeping at that hour... :rotflmao:

I really hope we can get up man :slapshead:

But I'll still be rather grouchy even if I get there on time... Not a morning person at all :frustrated:
