June:
Ha ha it's a small small world. The same Lengkong has 2 KS mommies bothered enough to come to this forum and thus we \"meet\".3bagsfull: haha we are neighbours...Actually I am working FT too, and squeeze him into the weekdays classes as my son is attending a church kindergarten rather than childcare.
My son is attending berries since he was 4, i would say that lays a very good foundation for his chinese..he is very strong in his reading w/o hanyu pinyin and also writing, they also introduce cheng yu to the kids which they believes that it adds to their library for composition much later. And it helps as stime i hear my son saying to my mum ..ah ma 我汗流夹背. It might be worth to just give them a call and you may speak to either Florence or Chen 老师 to find out more..I know they do have some courses for kids going to P1 next year
For chinese beyond K2..I heard a lot on Molin too but have yet to find out more, i know a lot of kids from Tao nan, Maha Bodhi are there..
Thanks for ur info on Berries, wld give them a call when I am free.
Do u plan to send ur kid to Molin after he goes P1 or u think that what Berries has taught him shld be enuf for the start? -
Haiz…endless programmes…
-
3bagsfull: Indeed what a small world, for now his teachers told me that he is actually way ahead and he shldn't hv problem nex year. I will evaluate Molin and will take it from there...and let you know after my evalulation
japhys: do u know what is being covered in British Council or Icreative learning? -
Just received the office yellow slip from NA saying that my son is in.
This year, the P1 Orientation falls on 30 Dec @ 8am
Woo-hoo~
:celebrate: -
Actually I am still trying to find out more
-
Yeah got the confirmation too
3bagsfull: I see you there on 30th Dec..
japhys: one question, since the orientation is just a few days before school reopen, do we get the books and uniform on the same day, or should we get it before.
