Telling my DS ext time before he asks his gal to marry me, ask her which primary she is from :imcool:
Oh no, I forsee another level of competition between PR and Sporean! What happen if your DS is choosing between a PR gal who studied in NYPS and a Sporean gal who studied in neighbourhood school which had closed down!
Ok I know this is :offtopic: but just curious...

I can understand how you feel, I've the same problem, only BIGGER. My DS don't even qualify for 2A2, cos I come from a girl school, and my DH school is already shut down (He complaint that he got into a lousy school, becos the Govt policy then encourage only 2 children, and he came from a big family, thus was dump into a school that can't even survive). Told him, I should have asked him which Primary School he come from before I married him :stupid:sgmum:
I live within 1km of both Fairfield and Henry Park. Looking at the balloting history I don't even dare to try enrolling my DD in these schools and instead decided to settle for Phase 2A2 but the school is \"far far far away\".
I'm luckier than you then. I too come from a girl's school and I have 2 DDs. I have a few schools (with g'teed enrolment) to choose from but ironically not the ones nearest to my home and DD's carer's home. -

Young people will not choose based on school background and parents are unlikely to have final say in the choice of our children's spouse.zhuangzi:
