just curious to check with mummies here, has you DD/DS start to shown preference on which hand she/he like to use? my girl likes to use left hand to hold her milk bottle and spoonโ€ฆ was wondering if sheโ€™s a leftie? i move the bottle to her right hand, she still use the left hand to hold.

too early to tell now ? i observed DS is using right hand when holding colour pens. my DD last time use both left and right, most 80% is right, now she is using right for writing.

i see. my hubby say abit too early to tell also. but we agree that maybe we should get her use to use right hand more often, get it as a habit. if she really leftie, i also leave it to her. wont force her to change.

yar, true also. if stay at home will go crazy. but i tink i need a break. and now i realise that itโ€™s so fun to watch her grow. and it bugs me that iโ€™m not the first person to see her walk. my husband saw her taking her first step coz he was on leave that day. if iโ€™m having a 2nd child, iโ€™m taking 6 months break.

yeah for the fisrt 4 to 6 months, it's good to be at home with them. i agree on this, i tool my full maternity leave for both kids. i enjoyed it to bits. but after the 12 months mark, especially when they are at their terrible 2 stage, u wish u are at work all the time.. coe they really drive us up to the wall.. ceiling.. space.. .. so being working mum, i spend my dat at work, spend my late afternoon/evening/night with them at home, all my weekends with them.. which balance things up for most working mums.. hee.. just to share.

u can try to take longer leaves at home to be with ur child one to one.. and u'll get what i mean.. ur days pass without u knowing and at the end of the month, u reflect.. what have u done.. yes, i've seen my child grow for a month.. and what else? i mean i just try to make full use of my life besides being a mother.

u can do so much being a working mum too. u make ur time work longer( u'll feel this way), and when working, u have some time too to think of the activities to do with ur kids..
