the ctr asked us to join this yr K2 grad ceremony yah… althou my girl’s turn is Y2012 yah…
if me rem correctly… 220 bucks incl 2 adults tic, snacks for adults only (if me rem correctly), kid perform costume bah…
my girl CC asked us in june… but my girl is yet graduate mah… why ask eh? checked w her classmate’s mummy… even N2 kids were "invited" to take part in the performance… puzzle me leh… and its branches too, @ least another 10 ctr hor… why graduatation have to involve such a huge no. of kids eh? Not U leh… smore the kids wont "know" who are the other ppl leh…
prefer my times… photo taking with own classmates & Tr only, makan with them only… @ OWN pl too… why go way to such a luxury pl??? if need to get bigger pl, how about Community Ctr MPH?
me even checked with my 2 sil… their kids’ cc no go such high class ones leh… "sweat"… or going high class pl will "up" their brand eh??
sorry for such grumpy post yah… my monies dont fall fm sky leh… hard-earned ones… somemore the 220bucks can buy "need" stuffs yo… -

Stay in SK, targeting PLMGS(grandparent place) or NCPS

so weird… usually for K2 grad, the rest doesn’t need to join. Quite standard for my DDs CC…, their K2 grad is held together with the rest of the K2 across the branches if I am not wrong…
$220 is indeed quite hefty amount to fork out especially if it is not my DDs time to grad.
Current CC has annual concert and K2 grad… so usually I pay for the annual concert tickets ($10-15 bucks) , costume around $20 , album ($30 - optional)
Haven’t heard from CC on DD1 K2 concert this year though… -

Have been accepted as PV for PLMGS. If we apply, will most likely register under phase 2B using grandparent address.
We are, however, also considering NCPS, as our place is within 1 km from the school. Have also applied to do PV in the school but no reply yet. -

do you think is your kid ctr is "well prepare" for your kid to attend P1, in academically? errr… seems like extra/ enrichment classes is common yah? rather worry am i letting my girl to lose out leh… or what are the things/ topics that a K1/K2 shld know eh? like know how to read, what type of bks, etc… -

NCPS is so \"hot\" even for within 1km... -
me has 6 more hrs to complete the 40hrs PV… the sch is getting hot leh… although its not so hot SAP school… keke… we are 1-2km… no school within 1km lor… so we die die gotta be in 2B lor or else no chance to ballot… (nowadays ballot is within 1km for 2C)…

Ya, enrichment is common but it is more on the parents on what they would like for their child
my DD2 (K1) is only doing chinese enrichment.
