Hi Mummyo,GPTeacher:
Mummy of 3 and GPTeacher
I'm trying for HPPS at P2B tho it doesn't look good as only 28 vacancies this year. I'm really torn as Henry Park is my 1st choice but this year's intake has been reduced and Phase 1 and 2A already has lots of places taken up.
ATS wld have been my 2nd choice but will have to forego the place to try for HPPS. I've PV for a year to get into HPPS. I think I've clocked at least 80-100hours. If i fail this time then I'll have to do another year of PV next year for my 2nd child. I feel so tired and discouraged just thinking about it.
After I give up my 2A place at ATS and fail at 2B at HPPS then we will probably end up at Bukit Timah Primary School.
Until the result is out, you still stand a chance at 2B. So, don't feel discouraged. I admire your persistence in clocking so many hours and will still do so for your 2nd child if need be. I do hope you'll be rewarded for your hard work.
Do share the outcome if it's ok with you. Take care.
Congrads!!!! Our kids might be classmates next year ...
We are just looking forward to the school's orientation in November.
It would be good if parents of existing students at HPPS could advise what we should look out for during the orientation. Thanks

Sure, maybe we can tell each other what clothes we are wearing nearer the date so we can look out for each other. haha
We will explore a way school bus to school, then my girl will be ferried back by the father who works nearby.
Actually, we might move nearer but then again, with Minister Khaw Boon Wan telling us to wait & not buy high (with the looming US crisis etc.), we might just rent an apartment first so we can walk to school

At least the P1 and P2 is in the afternoon session, your DD don't need to wake up so early.

Maybe by the time she P3, the prices will drop then can either rent or buy... :xedfingers:
