Hm… depends on how you handle it…

I have friends… colleagues… who have sent their kids to many enrichment classes… but me not yet… 0… not that I am not worried about the developments of my kid… but seeing how my kids learn things through real life experiences think benefit more than theory…

As for educational thingy, I will send them to those enrichment classed if there is a need to…

                  Now, for them to enjoy…

Slow or fast…it’s all relative I think.

Good enough for the kid to have some progress compared to himself/herself yesterday/last week/last month/last year…

I try to tell myself this when they can’t get sometime I am trying to teach…" this is only for exposure, they will get to learn it from their teachers again in school/enrichment, and hopefully they will understand it better then…"

For phtthp, my Pal and nettie:

This is wat i found from maths hub:

                        IQ Maths

Is the IQ Maths Program related to the school syllabus?

It is mostly related. However, the differences lie in our problem solving questions being of higher order involving larger values and the IQ questions of counting triangles and squares are out of school coverage.

Will my child be allowed to transfer from the P2 IQ class to P2 Competition class when he/she finds it too easy for him/her?

Yes, this is possible, provided there is vacancy in the competition class. Difference in fees, if any, would have to be topped up.

                        What is IQ Mathematics Program?

The IQ MathsProgram is an integrated program designed to instill interest in Mathematics. The program is formulated for K1-P2 students and not only consists of worksheets but also involves hands-on activites such as games, tangram models and origami, to make every lesson fun and enriching.
