      it is up to you.

The same new words in series "a" can be found in series "b".

For me, I do 1a and then 1b is because I want to make sure that my child remembers the words. After reading series "a", my DS will find series "b" easy as it is more for recap.

My DS1 reads about 4 pages each night for up to level 5 and then 2 pages for level 6 onwards. It really depends on individual child. Understand from Tamarind, that her DS read 2 pages each night. This is only for reference yeah.

DS2 was exposed to flashcards early and his words recognition is better. So he is able to finish each series of P&J book everynight for up to level 5 and then 2 pages for level 6 onwards.

      Hope this helps.

Noโ€ฆTam sometimes will not consider series "b" if the child is fluent. She used 1a, 1b, 2a, 2b and so forth.

That sounds good. So your DD like P&J lah. ๐Ÿ˜‚ Coz some mummies have difficulty getting the child to start the P&J. Jia You :rahrah:

lucky thing she likes it.. she will look at the picture for at least 5 seconds on each new page.. and then read.. she then will tell me what she thinks of the pictures.. like she said the toys in the toy shop.. etc

yesterday after revise the book 1a before going to next book, at the end of the book, they suggest 1b. so i proceed to 1b.iโ€™m glad as in 1b, DD can read the pages on her own, cos the words there are not new words, all from book 1a. itโ€™s kinda reinforce the words picked up from 1a.
