First time in my life I find Singpass useful (no longer need to file income tax, all auto now). All data in, no need to rekey add, just need to select sch. But MOE site not updated today like what they did for previous phases. I wonder…

Yap. I am wondering how they do the exact updating as MOE stated as ONLINE registrations : -Start 26 Jul 2011, 9.00 am . End 28 Jul 2011 4.30PM. Is it 24 hrs? 🤷 Online registrations should also have starting and ending times for exact calculations daily.

As normal registrations Start from 27 Jul, 28 Jul and 29 Jul 8.00am to 11.00am and 2.30PM to 4.30PM , two starting time slots only.

If is in this case, everyday from today MOE updating is not really the exact total number of applicants then? We have to wait till the very last day for online registration 28 Jul 2011 after 4.30pm then we can have the exact numbers? Wondering..... :skeptical:

The other time I found Singpass useful was when I printed out the Immunization form last year to register my daughter for P1. Super neat and tidy. The admin clerk was so happy because she didn't had to put up with the ink-smudged page with all the stickers (from the jabs) and stamps of the doctor's name and clinic.

Do parents have to be present physically during the balloting
? Or it is alright not to be there, assuming the school will conduct & update the parents later on?
I think it's safer for parents to be present, after what happened to a friend. Her child's name was picked in the ballot, but because it was very similar to that of another kid who was picked earlier, the slip of paper was almost put back into the box!!! Luckily she was very alert and stopped the staff, so all was fine. If she had not been present, no one else would have realised the mistake and she would have received a call from the school saying she was not successful in the ballot. :yikes:
