teochew mooncake are with crips fluffy crust. I think traditional fillings are red bean paste, winter melon paste and yam paste. But from young I have also tasted durian paste. Not really sure which is the real traditional paste.

the real traditional is yam, crisp fluffy crust, 恒江restaurant, near to 福安winter wear...(near speaker's corner??)

I have not tried 恒江’s. Are theirs sweet?

The first time I tried the yam one was at Crown Prince Hotel many years ago. Where can I get good ones now?

Hahaha…Ya lor, eat so many durians recently as it is cheap and now mooncakes again. About Crown Prince Hotel mooncake, are they still selling Yam mooncake huh?

Teochew mooncakes usually come with winter melon or yam paste. Very seldom do they use red bean paste, if I am not wrong.

One of the famous shops selling teochew mooncakes is Mui Lee in Chin Swee Road. However, I heard that they no longer make the mooncakes themselves. They buy the mooncakes, hence, not sure whether the quality is still there.
