safer to check based on block number than base on estate name, as part of an estate could be out of the 1km zone

I check the distance between my place to the school. From my place, it states 0.64km; from the school, it’s 1.25km. Which one I should look at?

check with the directory of addresses within 1 km / 2km which the school has

Use the School Query function. It tells you which schools are in which distance category relative to your house.

go to http://www.onemap.com.sg and at the top bar, click on the second icon \"services\" and choose \"schoolquery\"

then at the pop-up at the right, choose \"building near a school\", then select the school you want. wa-la!

i think officially during registration, all sch use onemap.sg to determine the distance.
