yes...but definitely much much easier than what my dd went through last year during SA1....the parents does not know when there will be a test, so basically less pressure for parents and probably only get a minor shock end of each term....

      Yup, definitely! Mine too!
These Pri 1s are so lucky now, can relax... but on the other hand, a little pressure is good to push the kids and exams, besides being a gauge on their level of understanding, provide a gauge of how they fare compared to their peers.

Yup, P1s are lucky. You know what, their parents are luckier, muahahaha.

Ok I admit sometimes I do wonder where my ds stands relative to cohort. But I reconsidered, nah nevermind, sooner or later I'll know (even if I don't want to). In the meantime, can eat snake, eat snake (吃蛇).

For kids like mine, who need more time to adjust to school life, I’m quite thankful there’s no formal tests/exams… at least there is more chance for my boy to catch up with the rest of the class… can make use of the long holidays etc…

Scary said she'll throw BBQ if her kid gets into PH.

Markfch says that if his ds can top 5%, he'll perform the gravity defying stunt of back-flip somersaults from Toh Tuck Rd all the way to Pei Hwa Avenue.

We parents are getting braver, ain't we? :rotflmao:

on second thought i just let d matter rest coz might make her day more miserable im telling my daughter just bear for 3 half more mth u wont be seeing her after your next primary term.

I hope and 🙏 hard my son's FT will not follow up next year...the CRUCIAL year. I'm miserable because she is a teacher whom I can't communicate with...so very unlike the other subject teachers. Dare not email HOD or P either, or my son's next 3 months will be more miserable.

                Normally the Practice is ....
                P5 FT won't follow to P6 ....
Coz it takes some special breed of T to withstand the Pressure in P6 ....

But Subj T May, Most of the Time ....
But swap with other Class ....

Btw, the model answer for the story of 2 buckets and a girl according to ds is that we should not look down on others who are weaker than us, because everyone is useful in his own way.
