- under P2C, West Grove is dark horse, overtake Shuqun & Rulang.
- Frontier is shocking !
almost the entire school been taken up, left only 8 vacancies.
Not sure of West Grove's stats shown here. I've applied today for my daughter. I was there around 10:30AM and my application no was 295. There were about 20-30 people already in queue behind me. -
Hi,
Yah, I was really impressed with Frontier’s enrolment rate! Can’t be the school staff sotong, keyed in 227 applicants instead of vacancies right?
What’s the selling point of this school? Did MOE send a solid team of teaching staff there to kickstart the school? -

Maybe the rest are in the 1-2 km category?

Hi,
Frontier shocks me! I think I may have to drop my plan B. Contrary to most of u guys, act we secured a place at Frontier at 2b. But wat made us sort of want to try elsewhere is our impression of the gp of teachers who did registration for us… our confidence bit shaken by time we came out of the school. Teachers (4 out of 6 of them?) looked very blur n lost. They look so fresh! Can’t handle my simple questions. I can’t imagine them handling a big bunch of 7yr olds plus school’s new… they themselves will be more lost right? But of course we also tell ourselves to to think positive… maybe the remaining 10-12 teaches wld be more experience…
Our plan B is aiming for shuqun, nearer to mom’s place which act is more ideal… but looks like we better consider properly with frontier’s numbers going way too fast on first day! -
perhaps potiential Frontier parents ring up the school, safer to confirm is it 227 applicants, or maybe typo error ?
bec the number 227 is shocking. -
I know what you mean. The registration was very frantic yesterday. We were not allowed into West Grove to register until it threatened to rain. There was a very big crowd.
I had a chance to speak with the VP. She told me that the staff helping in the registration are not Frontier staff. MOE has appointed officers to help the school as Frontier’s staff has yet to be posted in. It seems that the teaching team has already been identified and will only be released to the school later. The team is supposed to be experienced teachers and they only have 1 fresh teacher from NIE. The nos of teachers, I am told, is about 18, and so the ratio teachers to pupils look very good.
I was told that if we are within 1km of Frontier, the place should be confirmed. Keeping fingers crossed! Anyway, I am excited and I really hope I don’t have to ballot. -
My friend reach Frontier around 10am and his number 184 already so i think 227 is correct. :faint: But he is within 2km, heard that some are beyond 2km also register for this school. Wonder where they stay?

-
Wah, the frontier looks so popular, already 227 gone, cannot be all in <1km bah? maybe need ballot?! this area is very crowded. I wondering how it will be like for next year?
Anyone knows whether Frontier got PV for next yr registration? not heard, right? -

those that are ,2km will probably (my own opinion) are those staying near Rulang or Shuqun and they do not want to take the risk in the balloting....
My DD2's classmates are 1-2km registering at Frontier am also worrying and am
hard.

just kpo here… my colleague said that’s a SEC sch…
my sil went to register Frontier, she got q no. 214 aro 3 plus yah… she’s within 1km, keeping finger cross for my nephew…
any inside info of the distance breakdown of applicants for Frontier?
