Hi
It’s my first post, I would like to ask if I were to go to a pri sch to register today for the Phase 2C, but then I have another interest in another primary school can I go there tmr to register also?
Or I need to go to the primary school to cancel the registration first before I proceed to the second primary school?
Sorry for the noob question, cause it’s my first time.
Thanks -

You need to withdraw from the first school before you are allowed to register with the second school. It's my first post, I would like to ask if I were to go to a pri sch to register today for the Phase 2C, but then I have another interest in another primary school can I go there tmr to register also?

you need to go back to the first school to withdraw your earlier registration before going to the second school to register. -

At any one Phase, we are only allowed to register at one shcool. If you have already registered in school A but change your mind, you need to withdraw from School A before you can register at School B.
You may refer to MOE website or call the school to confirm this. Hope this helps.

Hi ppl thanks for the prompt reply, that means its a very risky choice, cause I'm staying in Changi side, there's no primary school around that area, and Pasir Ris schools are my only hope (more than 2KM).. went to two pri schools most of them are filling up fast and they kinda of asking me to give up coz of the distance.
I went to this school just now, there's like totally no one for registration, feeling abit weird, totally different from the other two schools I went previously.Registered with them however in my heart I find that it's a rash choice, so I decided to try another tmr.. but I'm afraid the other school will fill up fast too by tmr.. so I'm now in a dilemma..
Not sure should I stay on with that school or go to the second one. -
hi mrstea
do go over to this thread that is dedicated to schools in Pasir Ris and read what others are saying about each school there & the latest registration stats.

Hi,
Yes, system is online and real time. Hence, you need to withdraw from School A before your application with School B will be accepted.Bells:
I will be registering my son for P1 in school A under phase 2A2 which should guarantee a place. If subsequently i want to take a risk & ballot for school B under phase 2B >2km, how would be withdrawal & registration process be?
I was thinking that I would wait till the afternoon of the 2nd day of 2B registration and if the numbers look ok, my husband will do the withdrawal at school A and then I will do the registration at school B. This is assuming that the system is online & does not need time to process the withdrawal before allowing registration.Bells:
You don't need original documents to withdraw from School A. Only when you are applying do you need original documents.I read in someone's post that simultaneous withdrawal/registration not possible because we do not have 2 sets of original documents.... I thought school A would only take copies of our ic, child's health booklet, etc. They don't retain the original documents right?
I'm in the same situation but watching the 2C of HIPS closely. But what documents exactly do we need to do a withdrawal?
Photocopy of parent's I/C? Or any other documents?
Thanks in advance for the advise. -
Hi, I will be going to the sch for Phase 2C balloting next Friday.
Saw from the MOE website that S’porean wl be given 2 ballot slips for each child. Can someone help to explain what does that mean and what to expect when we reach the school on that day? All this P1 registration is making me nervous…
Thanks in advance. -

Before balloting, every applicant's name will be written on a slip of paper. For the Singaporean child, his/her name will be writen on two slips of paper. All slips of paper will be placed inside a bowl (fish tank) and a representative will draw out a slip from the bowl. The child whose slip of paper is drawn gets into the school. -
Thanks for the info, qms.
Any idea who wl write the name on the slip, school or parent and if it’s by the school how would we know that they’ve prepare two slips?
Sorry for asking so many question.
