Castle House:
Yup.. Concord will be safer..
Best of Luck.. :xedfingers:
Any idea whether Concord has a lot of remedial lessons? I am also >2km and also thinking of going to Concord. Worry about transportation if there are many after school activities in school. -
I believe all schools will have remedial lessons… but not too sure whether alot bo…
-
Remedial lessons are usually for weaker students.
The compulsory ones are usually supplementary
lessons to give children more enrichment lessons
to boost what's being done during the day lessons.
For after school activities, you also have to think abt
the extra CCA hours of your child's choice. These days
school doesn't really end at 1pm.

Compulsory… means must attend?

Cannot understand, but why? :scratchhead:Hmm.. still cannot understand why SV is so demanding

Best of Luck to mummies and daddies for P2C registration
SV has been consistently churning top scorers for PSLE..
SV has been featured numerous times for their interesting
enrichment programmes within school hours and after for
their students. Amongst others, parents with children in
SV have sung praise for the teachers there (most of them)
for being attentive to their children's needs in achieving
their best potential.
I didn't even dare try to register SV. I had a toddler and a
baby few mths old so cudn PV. So i just went ahead to
another school within our radius that never needed balloting
based on past history and got in. Easier to commute some
more. We got in without any fuss. Got pink letter within the
week to confirm our child's place. Heng.. no trouble at all.
Now that same school is getting popular already. -
Ya lar.. compulsory what?

But was told that parents can write in should the
child already have prior engagements with external
enrichment vendors or private music lessons that they
have been attending for a long time. Case by case basis la.
The children can be exempted then.. must be good excuse. -
Thanks Senior…
This Compulsory… Supp… thingy also apply to P1 students?
Then need to consider whether still wants to put ds to BASC le… -
Nope. Not at P1.. :nailbite:
The current school up North starts from P3.
A friend's daughter in Greenridge Primary has
supp lessons from P4 onwards.. this means it
is really subjective to individual school. -
xie xie ni… muack
-
*muacks* back..

No worries, Castle House.
Your child will enjoy his time there.
Lucky you got in via earlier phase.. :hugs:
