The teachers are quite fierce. My DD's math teacher is one of the fierce teacher. After many parents feedback to the form teacher, they get another maths teacher for her class. No exam for P1 and P2 but there will be year-end exam for P2. Every term will have term assessment and test. Not much homework, English so far none, they'll do it during lesson, Chinese sometimes and mostly Maths. P1's CCA mainly on dance and band. They do streaming for Chinese class in term 3 based on term 1 and 2 result. So far, my DD is happy and enjoying school. My advice is not to expect too much from the school. You need to guide your kids at home or send for enrichment/tuition. Hope I have answered your question.

Recently my DD has more homework to do. Her MT teacher is very particular in chinese word writing. Words like ε₯³ and θΏ look simple but my DD said they need to make corrections until it is correct.

Everyone, i have just recently enrolled my DD in JWPS. i hope i made the right choice :xedfingers: . Apparently they do not need to ballot this year. Issit because their results are not as good as previous years... Any thoughts about this??
How are the teachers there?? heard from a neighbor that her boy's teacher absents a lot.... :slapshead: and she said luckily P1 no exams.... Any other JWPS parents experience this kind of teachers in JWPS??? -
