Ya lor, and somemore it will be far far far away from my current workplace, but my hubby will be very near to his workplace at orchard if he’s still in the same job. But what is the next best choice? If stay here, don’t know which school they will end up in. To take the risk of balloting or not etc etc….and the need of balloting is almost certain in those popular schools, even if we get selected for PV and stay within 1km, and the odds are like 4-5 people fighting for 1 place in Phase 2B.

Primary school - our current plan is to shift to somewhere in Balestier area and enroll in Pei Chun in Toa Payoh…so happen that we bought a unit there 2 years back, supposedly for investment, but then looking at the intense competition in Jurong area, we kind of decide to move there. Downside is the unit there is really small compared to our current flat, and we will no longer have in-law support…
TV- my kids dun ask for TV, but since we have the ipad and the daddy introduced them to short clips e.g. ‘Charlie and Lola’, they will remember and associate daddy with the ipad. They don’t handle it by themselves but the trend can be quite worrying….as they say, it takes 3 years to learn good, but only 3 days to learn bad…and daddy is quite keen to entertain them with those on-line stories which he has downloaded on the ipad too.
tt's why i din start with my DD on iphone also.. cos they will get addicted ..
My hubby is the one more eager on this move, partly because of the schooling thing and partly because he feels the air/environment in Jurong leaves much to be desired, although he has been staying here for the past 30+ years, except for the 1 year plus where we were staying at Tiong Bahru before the kids came. -
Saving hard.. no more coffee from monday.. cos one cup is $1.. if one day save $1,.. 100 days $100.. so 1000 days i will have $1000 muahahhahaa :rotflmao:

what is phase 2A2 ? im not so sure, is it for alumni's children ? DH is old boy.
