2011 P1 Registration Exercise for 2012 In-Take

Indeed nerve-wrecking P1 registration 2011 for many parents

For me, already so stressful upon deciding
the right school. I am sure I would not be able to
go thru the process of balloting… will faint on the spot…triple
stressful. Really feel for the parents especially
JW parents who have back-plan yet with such shocking
results, no chance to even activate den die liao…

FYIP, my sister who has gone thru the balloting way 7 yrs back,
prior to registration, her family went Bai Bai at temple,
during the balloting, she prayed very hard,
after balloting, she went to offer to thanks God
who has answered to her prayer.
Not about religion, but a way to seek for peace of mind
other than just waiting for the big day to come .
Why not?

So many people vying for so few seats. Why so many applicants even in phase 2c within 1km? Where do they come from? I don’t see many kids around my kid’s age in my neighborhood! Seriously, as I read in another thread, this is can be suspicious…worries me somehow.

Keeping me in suspense while I am at work (aggrhhh!!!) and then comes the BIG day on Fri. Now I just keep my fingers and toes crossed and pray hard my kid gets a place in our choice sch

Fully can understand the nerve wrecking balloting which you are going through for phrase 2C. I went through last week under 2b and told myself my heart couldnt take it if I got to go through one more round should I failed 2b. God answered my prayers…

Went to register at FMPS on the first day of Phase 2C. End of Day 1, already have 76 kids eyeing for 47 seats. By Day 2 afternoon, received a call from the school to say DS got no chance liao cos we are 1-2km from the school. Cos by 3pm yesterday, already have more than 50 kids within 1km registered at the school.

Went to the school to withdraw this morning and quickly rush to the backup school. Don't even have chance to go through balloting.

82 places ... 110 (89 applicants within 1km to ballot for 82 places)

my boy needs to go thru balloting to secure a place
that means going down 5 Aug to witness the process ...

and also hoping of these 89 ... most are PRs
so better chances for SG bcos have 2 chances to PR's 1

Clementi Primary also had seats, did you check before you went for Qifa?

Qifa is also good, not worry too much

I monitor JWPS, CPS and Qifa... But due to distance and school bus, i choose Qifa as its cheaper for transport :evil:
