Tamarind, actually folding flour and mixing flour is very different. But for kids, as long as they can mix it well, it’s an achievement!

Hi,I got a piece of info to share with all,for those who find it a chore/messy to do it at home, Look out for Bakers Club.

There is a parent + child baking class.
You’ll learn to decorate cookies or baking and decorating cupcakes with sugar paste.
For any enquiries please contact Brenda, see here http://sg.88db.com/sg/Services/Post_Detail.page/Parenting_Children/Children_Enrichment_Programmes/?PostID=426299

you can try Home Horizons, think they are located in Bukit Panjang or Twinkle Chef, they are located at Upper Bt Timah, the old fire station, now known as Spectra.

I bake/cook pretty frequently with my kids too. So far, they have made butter cookies, chocolate chip cookies, cupcakes, muffins, pizza, chicken pies, bread, sushi, bread pudding, ondeh ondeh, Kueh Dahdah, jemput jemput.

DD will be the one to read the recipe and measure out the ingredients while DS will be there to, well, make a mess and eat. But main thing is for them to have fun.

Thanks for the information. I've emailed Home Horizon coz they don't have contact number in their website so I have to wait for them to reply. As for Twinkel Chef, I can't find them fm the internet. Do you have their contact number? I'm sure my DD will surely loves it...
