ooh, now i remember PLMGS has the dark blue pinafore. i think that's how pinafores came about is it? like an apron, and it's dark coloured, so any stains can't be seen?

i guess being girls, perhaps they are less messy too, so you have chance of passing them to dd2. šŸ™‚
Hmmm when I was in plmgs my pinafore was torn while playing catching .. Got to borrow a set fr the office if not no clothes to go home šŸ˜†

knowing my lack of interest towards doing laundry. most likely 4 sets of uniforms + 2 sets of PE. unless need more PE attire?

will be buying enough so that I dont have to wash in the middle of the week.. can hand me down to DD2 also so not that bad... šŸ˜‰

ya snoopy, i just sharing my experience, maybe u buy 2 set each first, then school reopen can still buy. cos you don't have timetable yet.

i also bought 2 sets each till i got the timetable on 2nd day of school in Jan, then i went and bought 1 more set of PE.

kiss, i also thought can pass down to ds2. but my ds1 play soccer, run here and there in field and eco garden after his food everyday... very dirty and worn here and there.

he also tend to gobble down his food (he says all the boys are like that) so they can quickly go play, so his shirt always full of mee soto or rice gravy stains... in class, he use paints or magic pen for art or colouring during math, also can accidentally draw on clothes.

that time lagi best, come home with red marker streaks on the back of the shirt! he said must be his friend draw on him cos he draw on his friend's hand!! :slapshead: :slapshead:

so even if ds2 same sch as him also cannot hand down uniform liao...

:rotflmao: boys will be boys. Sigh.. I want to think about what to buy for school alr. Not waiting for balloting results 😢

But got funny incident to share. This morning I went register at St Stephen. My DS insist on coming along. So I took him there. When we registering, one of the PV or teacher, chat with him..
Lady: so, boy, you want to come St Stephen right?
Son: actually, I want to ACS Jr.
        :slapshead:

your DS1 sounds like my DD2... :faint: my DD1 is very picky about cleaniness so I am actually happy she is the first one for P1 coz she takes care of her things.. if my DD2 was the first one going to P1? no hope of any uniform or textbook survival :faint:
          good for you!

my ds1 came back with super big size shirt before, i asked him what happened, he said got drenched while playing in the rain during recess (it was raining heavily and they still went out in the field! so a tr saw and got the whole group to go Gen Office to change. but don't have his size!

            so funny...

Awkward silence between the lady and me while my DS went back to playing his angry bird on his iPod.
