But Step 10 was NEVER in the \"My Status\" page in the first place - it stopped at Step 9. Was only put in by NUSHS this afternoon. Since it was put AFTER Step 9 (\"Offered a place at NUS High Sch\") and it reads as \"ACCEPTED offer to attend informal tea session\", it would seem wierd to put it in the form if Step 9 is not a \"Yes\" wouldn't it? Anyway, that's just a very very hopeful way of reading it! [Cross fingers!]

Hmm...maybe shouldn't read too much into the sudden appearance of Step 10! 😐

Did everyone get a Step 10 in their My Status page?
Yes, Step 10's in my form too. I see the appearance of Step 10 as something they've added to all forms for them to fill in later with YES or NO. So you can have YES in Step 9, that is Offered a place in NUS High, but not invited to tea. I remember reading here somewhere that the Platinum awardees and other shoo-ins were invited to tea before the rest of the successful applicants were informed of their results.

Anyway, Step 10's not important. Step 9's the one we want to see a YES in. šŸ™‚

I have the Step 10 too and fully agreed with you a YES in step 9 in what we all are waiting for.

I know of a year 1 student in NUSH she got in thru DSA and was told that all student accept the offer has to attend the tea session and they will give out the confirmation letter.

            Hope I'm not wrong.

I think all students make it to the camp have the Step 10 added into their status.

Last year, those who received confirmed or waitlist offer were invited to a tea session (Of course tea session is to persuade you to put them as 1st choice). So it looks like they are going to send out the results soon and step 10 is probably for them to gauge the response to the tea session.

During the tea session, you will also be asked to indicate on a form if you are going to choose NUSH. It is not binding though. Base on that they may convert a few waitlist to confirm offers. A few who did not make it to the waitlist were also called up for interviews and later placed on the waitlist.

Probably the same or similar process this year. Good luck.
