Today early morn I also woke up early for ahem... Sibei shag... Still got class later... Luckily got aunt to babysit dd later. :snooze:

Felt better when I don't think about it lor.. Haiz.. Was managing expectation with myself n in the end cannot decide wat is the win win situation. Discipline DD yesterday and then as usual after that think to myself if my expectation too high.. And then don't know wat to do... Haiz.... Still having a headache of this matter.

i think i know what you mean... feel the same where I think, i was able to do this when I was young and why can't DDs do the same. Especially in terms of being polite, courteous, respectful and not being selfish...

it gets on my nerves that I need to remind them all the time...people around gives their 2 cents of \"they are just kids\", when I look around me, nowadays kids grow up fast as well and the discipline has to keep up with the pace.

I used to think that my expectations were high also but tell myself, it is for their good. If I slack, then they would climbing all over me.

I think all kids r the same. Some days u will be so proud of them that they behave unexpectedly good... N when u r so happy with them suddenly they will behave v badly or rude that u wish can throw them in the rubbish bin. :evil:

Ya Lor... My dd works 7 days week... :razz:
Try to cut down when P1 starts... But then again... Scarli increase more classes... For tuitions... :faint:

I washed then returned to school with a thank you note. but till now still didn't know which kind teacher, cos ds1 didn't know the teacher's name.

There is also one school non-teaching staff. Not sure is it school caretaker or one of the General Office staff. He is very caring. Often see him help students and advising them. Any student sick or get hurt also go see him. He also takes care of the CCA students who stay back late. So on Teacher's Day, I prepared a gift for ds1 to give him also. But ds1 told me he is not a teacher. Everyone just calls him Uncle Tan.

One thing abt Pr sch is, many times we listen to the account of our kids about school. It is just one-sided. I do wonder how much of what he says is true. And if I need more details, like who is this teacher who said this thing, or what, I got no way to verify except from his account.

In childcare or kindy, very easy, just write in comm book. The kids do not wander around a whole big school compound so the tr def knows what the kid is up to and how to answer all my Qs.

But for pr sch, if I ask the form tr something, sometimes he was not with them during that class, or it was recess time, or something, then I would not know...

Know what you mean. I go through it myself. Sometimes I managed to put on brake, sometimes I can't and \"lan ga\" with DD1, then she cries, I cry, everyone cry. :rotflmao:

But very strange, my expectation not so high for DS and bb. I wonder if it is becos P1 is so near for her........I started to drink herbal tea to calm myself, hope it helps, then will not \"lan ga\" with DD1 so many times.
