Careless not as bad as dun know lah ... Last time in sch I also like tat always got careless mistake so I can understand.
I get :frustrated: when I explain 3 or 4 times already n DD still dun know how to do.

If after numerous explanation, still can't understand, check with her which part she didn't understand. If she cannot explain, then you might want to apprach it in a different manner or just leave it for another day.

For kids, they need to literally sleep on it to let the brain organise information. Sometimes it might be wks before they will show to you that they understood.

Sometimes DD got this auto screen saving mode especially when we doing work for more than 10 mins. she is like totally switch off :stupid: :slapshead:

actually I can accept don know more than careless leh.. If don know still can teach.. If careless har hard to correct... Every time must remind la, threaten la scold la..

But mine is not those type dun know ,explain ,then got it, bingo.
My DD is like -explain 3 times then
        Me ' do u understand?'
        DD nod head
me' can u do the next qn on your own'
        DD shake head
        Explain another 3 times
The whole cycle repeat another 3 times until I give up n :frustrated:

Like tat u still can take it :?[/quote]Er.. Never happen in my case.. Because my tolerance level is only to explain 3 times. If I have to say for the 4th times, then DD will kan na.. I also apply this to work.. In my office, I don't repeat or explain for the 4th time.

Er.. My explanation is flawless one lor.. (perfectionist ma) but I agree must leave it for one day cos next day will have miracle and DD will know how to do and then careless mistake will start to kick in... :frustrated:
