Nuh, my friend brought her daughter to it. I have been staring at my DDs for the past 5-6 years and not a single sign of artistic or musical flair.. so such things might bore them..

I really think I would be thrown out because they would end up giggling non stop during the concert... :faint:

Ya, my friend's gal attends 1 - 1 private tuition and a group class at another school for her violin lessons i think...

Er.. Never happen in my case.. Because my tolerance level is only to explain 3 times. If I have to say for the 4th times, then DD will kan na.. I also apply this to work.. In my office, I don't repeat or explain for the 4th time.
:hi5: , i dont have a 3 times thingy but my patience is also very thin. work wise I am more tolerant although I am also known for being logical. ,my face will change when I get a dumb answer or question , hiaz trying to tone down :faint:

with DDs, it is regimental.. I try the nice way but the results were so much slower .. so if DDs don't get it, they will have to sit down and practise till they get it right. if not tv, sweets, or outings come to an immediate stop.

Er.. My explanation is flawless one lor.. (perfectionist ma) but I agree must leave it for one day cos next day will have miracle and DD will know how to do and then careless mistake will start to kick in... :frustrated:

If you switch line to tutor or you open tuition agency, let me know hor πŸ˜‰

CMI la.. Don't have energy to teach so many kids.. Different kids need different styles. Just need to find the correct one.[/quote]See? words of wisdom.......let me know when you change your mind. One guy's earning 50k per mth

I agree with this teaching method..

You need to understand what motivates your child in order for them to keep moving.. can be anything..

Some kids are easily satified just by word of praise..

                      Some needs more..

You need to trial an error.. and find the right way for both..

                      :hi5:

For my DS, the magic word is good boy πŸ˜‚

                      :hi5:

errr.... good boy.. sound like to a dog.. hehe... just kidding..

Mine is.. anything.. as long you praise him for something that he has done well.. he is an easily contented boy...

                      just like mummy.. πŸ˜‰
