      Jenn:
Last year, those who received confirmed or waitlist offer were invited to a tea session (Of course tea session is to persuade you to put them as 1st choice). So it looks like they are going to send out the results soon and step 10 is probably for them to gauge the response to the tea session.

During the tea session, you will also be asked to indicate on a form if you are going to choose NUSH. It is not binding though. Base on that they may convert a few waitlist to confirm offers. A few who did not make it to the waitlist were also called up for interviews and later placed on the waitlist.

Probably the same or similar process this year. Good luck.
Thanks for the info, Jenn. Is your child in NUS High now? How does he/she like it there?

I just checked \"My Status\", 😢 (on #1 behalf) not offered. Think hubby would be very relieved. So should I tell #1 now? Or wait till the oral is over?

Might be better to wait till the Oral exam is over.

How insensitive!! Can't they(NUSH) just wait until the Orals are over b4 releasing the outcome.

I hv been checking the \"My status\" since last week. There is an extra \"Step 10: Accepted offer to attend informal tea session\" today. Seems like we would be hearing from the sch soon.

Thanks for the info - I just checked, and yes, I've also got that extra Step 10. Hope that means it's good news! šŸ˜„

                  Hi Sally

Unfortunately, no. But the silver lining is that this will make my son work harder for PSLE.

                  How about your child?

                    Hi

                    He make it.

Yes, you are right, sometime negative result might not mean bad. For my boy when he was not selected by RI for the selection test he told us that he will study hard and score well in the PSLE to approve RI that they make a mistake of not giving him a chance for the selection test. And he has been focusing in his revision for the past 1 month and now he said that he hope to make it for the EEIS Scholarship..

I believe that your boy will do well in his PSLE.

Thanks, Sally, and CONGRATS! That must be a load off your mind.

I told my son the news in as encouraging a way as possible, and after the initial disappointment, he told me during lunch that he will work very hard for PSLE. It turned into a sort of internal motivation for him. I am really glad he took it that way, and I believe he will grow stronger because of this temporary setback.

You must be happy to that he take it well.

Yes, he is happy to make it to his dream school but worry to see that the way he prepared for the PSLE. Hope the day come soon and he can really enjoy before the 6 hard years ahead.
