          Hi,

Does anyone knows of any good place to celebrate a birthday? I don’t mean party, but a sit down makan session. My son’s birthday falls during the SA2 exams every year (I pity him), so thought of just having a makan celebration since can’t have a party.

I know Swensen’s is one of those places and the birthday person will get a free Firehouse if that is the actual birth-day. However, holding a celebration there is very costly.

How many people are you planning to invite to the party? For restaurants Swenwen’s has a pretty reasonable price. Another alternative is Fish & Co. What about just having an ice cream party at places like The Daily Scoop or Gelare?

Wallets, pencil cases from The Wallet Shop, with very cute statements:"I need money", "damn I am broke". They have outlets in bugis junction, Clementi mall. Thought They very suitable for teens.

boys at this age buy them books, they think you are such a bored person. if u buy them stationary, they think u are childish.

I suggest SportBrand T-shirt, sneakers or sport shoes. bring them to Queenstown Shopping Center, they will spoil with choices, I brought my DD there to buy a pair of tennis shoes, she was so excited. :rahrah: I got my nephew (14yrs old ) a Reebok bag for his birthday months ago, he was so happy and his friends like it too. 🕺
