      I think many kids will be overwhelmed on the 1st day of pri sch. It’s a totally different environment, much bigger compound compared to their cc, kindy and enrichment centres. With so many new faces, the kids will bound to be scared. And if someone in class starts to cry, maybe the rest will follow?

          Dun think there will be a lot crying in class... But heard stories of p1 kid lost in sch compound n cry :nailbite:

            My dd confirm cry on 1st day of P1.... She every small things also cry....

            Parents can stay thru out the 1st day? I think cannot bah...

            but your DD attends so many enrichments... she should be more adaptable? or I am wrong...

            This morn dd cried again... She sibei emo one lah... Every time after weekend, sure cry n say \"I dun wan to go to sch\"... Worst is after long weekend.
            Then again, I think the PCF is too boring to her... Hope P1 will interests her more.

                        I heard abt this buddy system too..but for those sch with partial single session, only Pri 1 and 2 are in the afternoon session. So a pri 2 kid will buddy a Pri 1? hmm...Pri 2 still very young right? keke.

                        Last time I heard is Pri 5 buddy a Pri 1 kid.
                        true... yikes, plmgs is dual session for 2012... wonder how it will go
