Alkanet:
to qualify for PEPS phase 2B, you have to go grassroots. they don't accept PV.benten2011:
how popular is Princess Elizabeth? Seems like there is a huge demand for it. Thinking of sending my kid there next year.
It's an old school, well established. That's why around 50% of the seats has been taken at the earlier stage. Yes, huge demand for it. Can check from MOE website here: http://www.moe.gov.sg/education/admissions/primary-one-registration/vacancies/#bukit-batok
If you're keen on sending your kid there, perhaps you can check w/ the school whether they hv PV scheme. (volunteering) so you can apply on stage 2B.
and you have to be within 1km to participate in balloting if you going for phase 2C. -

why Keming so popular ? good teachers there ?
My guess:
- Keming is surrounded by high-rise residential blocks, such as blks 288 - 291, and the Dew.
- It is easily accessible by public buses, compared to Bukit View and LianHua.
- Its top PSLE student last year - 276. -
in terms of academic past results, how do we compare bt view and lian hua?
so far any comments on these two pri school? -

based on the chart, BVPS performed better in the % passes for standard subjects when compared to LPS.

do look at their choice of CCAs and distance when you are deciding on which to choose.
good luck. -
Hi All,
We've got a place through balloting in Phase 2C. But so far, we haven't received any letter from SAPs. Anyone who HASN'T/HAS got confirmation letter from SAPs, kindly let me know. Coz I'm now so worried because just found following paragraph from MOE website.
When and how will I know the outcome of my registration?
You will be notified of the result of your registration by post, immediately after the school has conducted balloting (if required) and before commencement of the next phase of registration. You should check with the school if you did not receive any notification. -
Hi, BonaFides
I think you should call up the school to find out. The notification letter should be sent to you in about 1 month after the registration date. Don't worry so much. I think it's just a matter of slight delay in sending the letter. But imho, you can always call up the school to find out & to have peace of mind. :))) -
