-
michyms… yes u rite!..haha…
-
serpent, I’m looking forward to shopping too! I wonder where we’re supposed to buy textbooks? I wonder if its from the school bookshop (like I used to do in my primary school days) or from Popular bookshop?

After this round of Pri 1 registration scare, we will want to consider very carefully where we will want to register ds in 2015 for (pri 1 in 2016) so this shift is very critical to us.. We will probably first determine which sch we want for ds then look for a place within 1-2km to the sch... we will definitely look for somewhere near to MCS too.. so it will be the tpy/novena stretch and hopefully we can do PV..

Mummymeow, your kids are exactly the same age as mine! I have one girl in born in 2005, one girl in 2007 and one boy in 2009 :rahrah: How about considering the boys schools like St Andrews or Maris Stella? Think if do PV and live within 1km, should be quite safe to get in in Phase 2b.[/quote]
michyms, i am considering these 2 boys schs... another 2 on my list are SJI n St Gabriels... But have to discuss the decision with my dh first

Yeah, I think both these schools are pretty good choice too
...
My boy is going to my hb's old school (Catholic High), since it's across the park from where I live... I already did PV for my girl for Marymount Convent, so I cannot imagine having to do PV again for my boy :faint:
I think most parents with boys and girls will usually choose a mixed school... just curious why u decide on all girls/all boys' school? I prefer single sexed school, cos I feel that its less distracting. -

Hehe, its way to early for shopping spree.
I remembered we got our stuffs for primary 1 in Dec.
School bag - wait till u see the sizes and number of books before getting it. There is a school cabinet for the girls to store their books, arts & crafts, files in their classroom. This lightens their bag load.
Uniform and pe attire - the gals need to wear pe attire twice a week, so it’s better to get 2 sets. School jacket - I find this useful during raining season.
School shoes - black ( think just go economical ones since the gals need to take off the shoes for some lessons. )
Bear in mind that being primary 1, they tend to be careless and lost their things often. These are the things I can remember off my heads now. Hope it helps.
