Oops! I was thinking along the line something like 'Single Session...'. Thanks!
Puffer, you think too much.... -

I think so St Hilda's Pri is the best school in Singapore. Phase 2C where only have 30% chance applicants also want to try. The previous Principal of RVPS had been almost 6-7 years.Hi titank,
St Hilda's is a very good school isn't it? The new P is very young - about 40. He came here last year as VP for a few months before taking over from the previous P who had been with the school for >10 years. BTW, what's SHPS?
Principal \"Tour of Duty\" is about 5 years. Yes nowadays Principals are very young type unlike our days where the Principal all very old like 50-60++. -

Hi QMS,jimtay:
Thank you thank you! :salute: Relieved to know that apparently my chance next year still looks reasonably ok (I stay 1-2km from RVPS)

Think you better have a backup plan, too. Nobody expected Radin Mas to have balloting within 1 km this year either, but look what is the situation now?
Really grateful for your concern.
For me, it's already too late to do anything to be entitled for applying during phase 2B next yr (my DS is 5 y.o.). I am aiming for SJIJ and RVPS (I stay in Selegie), but SJIJ is even more popular than RVPS, I think! you have any bright idea as back up plan? Any suggestions? Of course I would like to have some back-up plan! BTW, have no plan for phase 2C (supp) yet...

Hi Jimtay!
Which school is your alma mater?
This year, RVPS had balloting for those in the 1-2 km category. Hence, you may need to go through balloting next year, too, since you belong to this group. -

Sorry, isn't the Principal of St Hilda's a lady? She's Mdm Kew Mee Ying. She was the former Principal of Kuo Chuan Presbyterian Pri. Sch. She was there from Yr 2000 - 2006. -
There is about 10+ in the waiting list to enter P1 of RVPS.

Hi Tulip!
Is Mdm Kew the CURRENT principal of St Hilda's?
Puffer and Titank actually meant the current principal of RVPS was PREVIOUSLY from St Hilda's. -

Oops...apologies! My mistake then, didn't follow the thread closely :oops:Tulip:

titank meant the current RVPS principal, Mr Danny Poh is the former Vice-Principal of St Hilda's. And btw, my mistake to state that the former P of RVPS was with the school for >10 years - She was with RVPS as Principal since 2001, so should be >7 years. Cheers!Puffer:

Unfortunately phase 2A does not apply to me cos I hv only got my pink IC in 2003, I think... I can only pray that the number of applicants next year won't exceed the number of vacancies by too much!Hi Jimtay!
