Yes, the 2 parents pulled out from ACSJ to SJIJ during the last minutes because the odds is better at SJIJ. But there were also other parents which sticked to ACSJ even though they have better chance at SJIJ.

Be it fate or be it God's will, I heard that the 2 parents who abandoned ACSJ & gate-crashed SJIJ @ 4:25pm were successful in the balloting! And as are all the PR applicants.

All the best.[/quote]No lah, I am just a busybody... studying and concerned about the trend of balloting at P2C at the 3 boy schools near the Novena/Newton region. This year all 3 balloting <1km. Is there something wrong with the air or water in that area that in 2005 there were a spike of newborn males? Then I read the post by laughingcat (@ the Central Primary school thread) and eureka! Now I understand why... :mad: :mad: :mad:

I feel sorry for celes7... 4:15pm ytd received call fr sch to pull out. Where got time to de-register n re-register at another school? (@ SJIJ Parents' Networking group thread) :sad:

Going to register my son on Thursday. We fall under 1-2km and school website says this has to be balloted based on the last five years. Praying this year will be different and my son will definitely get in. Any idea when the school will conduct the balloting and how long it takes? If kena ballot, I have to be there to know the results immediately.

MOE website says: \"Announcement of Results: Friday 5 August 2011\" so I guess the ballot will be conducted on that day?

I was at the ballot last year, i remembered it starts at 9am and lasted about half an hour. And most parents were there to witness the ballot.
