Thx Chloecube.. i oso heard some kids drop out when thay reach K1 to join Hope community church school. May i know is Hope sch good?? Any particular reasons why u pull ur DD out from Beehives..?? Ms Rose told me that her students who study there has came back to her after graduating saying that alot of things they have learnt already. She assure me that the students here is ahead and will be well-prepared for P1 and the reason they are not registered with MOE is she don't like intervention. The teacher there is Ms Rita.
DD was taught by Ms Rita, after she left Beehive, i continue to send her there for phonic and reading (by Rita) for about a year.then i withdraw her and put her on Home tuition together with DS who is P3 now.
like i said earlier, DD is with Beehive for a long time till 5 as i do not have a maid. ever since my maid came 2 yrs ago, i decide to put her in PCF (half-day) to try out. but the centre which i went to keep changing teachers and at one point , no teacher at all. the principal and speech and drama teacher have to relieve the class for a month.
so i pull her out and register her in Hope.
DD likes Hope alot, smaller class compared to PCF. i also like the enviroment , conducive for learning.
ya, i pity the children now, so many lessons to take after school hr
which block are you staying?
i find that only a few PCF near our place are good
that is why i enrol her in Hope -

Hi, me stay Blk 436, wat abt u?? May be we seen each other b4 haha... i'm a FTWM and my gal was taken care by my mum so we are looking for gd pre-sch with gd environment / curriculums. By the way, in ur view, Beehive or Hope is beta??
Seeing the the MOE statics on the P1 registerations reali like watching the stocks market haha... I'm an old gal of Chongzheng. i tink next time i jus opt for it.. cannot take the balloting risk and no time for PV.. sometimes i reali hope the MOE can cum up with gd plans..

if you ask me to choose between Hope and Beehive, i would think Hope is more wholesome. they will be seated in classroom, doing speech and drama, ting xie, spelling..system is pretty much like MOE when they go to Primary school.
u were saying your DD is 4 this yr? actually if u really want to enroll her in Hope, you have to call them now, their seats run out very fast and many were put on waiting list.
if you are an old gal of CZ, its good for DD to go there. this yr that school is a hot fav! both my newphews are in that school
me too, i got a weak heart for balloting too, that's why i enroll them in my alumni school too. but the school is pretty far away from tampines. -
Yes, my son enjoys himself thoroughly since he got into Hope kindy K2 this year. Prior to that I was teaching him from home from nursery to kindy 1.
I must say hope kindy gives good foundation to primary school.
Just that their surprise spelling ‘sentence’ really makes him to be attentive in class during the week, if not he will not be able to cope. -
