Ya. Did nt know the competition for this yr Pri 1 is so intense . Yangzheng for so many years has always more than enough vacancy for 2c phrase. Due to the cut in intake , suddenly those within 1 km also run the risk of balloting. If they continue to cut to 150 next year, within 1 km will need to be balloted. Serangoon ave 2/3 is mature estate but there are a number of condos ard the area n the sch is quite popular amg the PR from china . When I was there , already saw a few PR registering.

I believe a number may be eyeing PLMGS or Maris Stella 1- 2 km. Once they know balloting required , they made a final move back to yangzheng within 1 km. hence a increase of 12 applicants within 1 km on the last day .
Last year ,I have a neighbour who applied PLMGS n not successful in the 1-2 km balloting n then applied for yangzheng 2c supplementry n failed again n finally went to Zhong HUA . Applied 3 school!! N went tho 2 balloting. 

Sorry, I can’t contribute much since my girl has not started school there. From what I see, those current year parents are quite scarce on this forum. Probably busy on the job or may be not aware of this platform to share.


Hope the coming years’ parents can change this trend and make this a more lively place for sharing our children school life and happenings here. I have seen other active forums with hundreds of pages posted.

Have anyone heard of Serangoon Moral? Its located just next to block 238 Serangoon Ave 2 I think.

I met a mother the other day and she will be putting her gals in the student care. I was actually considering the student care at Blk 204 after reading the feedback from this forum because there are really limited student cares near YZPS.

Anyone care to share?

From what I gathered from the forum’s posts:


1. There is one centre across the school. (should be at the void deck).

2. A church nearby offering student care (should be Bethesda Bukit Arang Church)

3. Archers Student Care Centre at Blk 204 Serangoon Central.

sorry, really busy with work and children takes turn to fall sick! :gloomy:
i like the idea of changing the Wednesday MCCA to friday.

My Girl have been with the Archers Student Care Centre at Blk 204 Serangoon Central. i personally like the student care as compare with the previous student care at my void deck.

Archers Student Care Centre provided free transport for Pr 1 and 2, currently there are 3 primary one and students from other school .
