        Hi Happy Mama,

I think most traditional mooncakes contain pork lard. Need it to make moon-cake that's what I understand! But I dunnoo much about making mooncakes though (only know how to eat! ). Anybody here can throw some light?
        šŸ˜‰
 Hmm, that explains why some mooncakes tend to be more \"oily\" than others...

          Happy Mama,
Do you know how much is Marriott selling their white lotus with double yolk mooncake this year?

Just checked Peach Garden's price, it's $50 per box of 4 before GST!
          so expensive!

Tigger88, are Peach Garden mooncakes nice? I have yet to try it. šŸ˜‰

Yes agree with you that this is a time, besides CNY, when we'll burn a hole in our pockets... But do look out for credit card deals. They are quite good but usually minimum 4-5 boxes, so you've got to buy from one brand, instead of buying one box each from different brands.

Thanks BlurBee. This is definitely a good deal!

Have you ever bought vouchers from deal.com or groupon? I've never tried buying these vouchers before. Is there any catch to such vouchers (I don't mean the conditions for buying the mooncakes).... Thanks...
