School Vacancies by Phases

Dear Parents,

Phase 2C Supplementary registration will be held from 11 to 12 August 2011. Results will be announced on 16 August 2011. All our primary schools have good teaching staff and the resources to deliver a quality holistic education to our children, and there are sufficient places in our schools to cater to all Singaporean primary school-going children.

A summary of the estimated number of P1 places in the various Planning Areas and regions in Singapore for Phase 2C Supplementary is listed in the table below.

North East \t: Hougang, Punggol, Seng Kang, Serangoon \t\t 994

Central :\tAng Mo Kio, Bishan, Kallang, Novena, Toa Payoh \t\t 1026

South :\tBukit Merah, Bukit Timah, Central, Clementi, Queenstown 693

West :\tJurong East, Jurong West \t\t\t\t\t 676

North West :\tBukit Batok, Bukit Panjang, Choa Chu Kang \t 828

Should any Singaporean child be unsuccessful during Phase 2C Supplementary, the parents can seek MOE’s assistance, and MOE will facilitate admission for the child to a primary school with remaining vacancies nearest to his/her home. This will be done before Phase 3 registration begins.
