Do u know if we can use our own white socks, or must it be purchased from the school with school logo?

Hi micyyms,

My daughter told me they have to wear socks with their sch logo. Sometimes, spotchecks will be conducted and my daughter told me one of her classmates was reminded to put on MCS socks. However, I do see a few handful of students wearing normal wear sock when I go fetch her.
My daughter will insist wearing ONLY MCS socks as she is very afraid of getting \"yellow letter\" from the teacher.( is like a \"warning letter\" and my daughter kana once before for her slightly long fringe.) πŸ˜“
miffy, wow, so strict! But that is good, cos that means good discipline :rahrah:

Hi cantbearit2,

:hugs: Long time no chat. I've been super busy so haven't been to KSP for months. How have you been? I'm sure your DD has assimilated well in MCS.

Ya, great to receive confirmation on the sch's plans for PRIME. I'm glad we don't need to move to another sch. Hopefully, it won't be too dusty and noisy for our gals.

I've been kept bz too. My DS3 juz went thru a surgery (a congenital skin disorder) & now it's my mom's turn ('trigger finger' aka old folks prob πŸ˜‰ ). DS3 has since recovered. πŸ•Ί Mum will b removing her bandage tml so on e way to recovery. πŸ˜„
DD1 has settle dn well. Still forgetful but much better now. At least she doesn't lose her water bottle every other wk. πŸ˜†
She's oso enjoying her 'shopping' during recess time. Buying all sorts of stuff fr e bookshop. Sometimes she eats, sometimes she 'shops'. :rotflmao:
DD1 has sinus prob. I oso hope it won't b 2 dusty otherwise she may appear 2 have runny nose everyday. πŸ˜“
How's yur 2 lovely gals doing? Have ey been keepg mummy bz???

canbearit, glad to hear that your ds3 has recovered. Hope your mum gets well soon! How old are your 3 kids? Your dd2 is also in MCS now?

Thanks so much for sharing the info with us, Can'tbearit. Good to hear that the school will be undergoing upgrading soon :rahrah: Is your dd in the student care? I wonder if this upgrading will also take place the same time as the NS Highway construction?

Yes, my DD is in the student care. & yes, ard e same time wif the NS highway construction. But understands tat it's underground so shld not b tat noisy. 🀷 Not sure abt e dust though. :skeptical:

can'tbearit, I hope it won't be too dusty! My dd used to have sensitive lungs when she was younger, its better now, but I certainly hope she won't be breathing in loads of dust daily :scared:

You can either buy your own white socks or socks with the sch logo.

If buying your own white socks, ensure they are not ankle socks. Must be 5cm above ankles.

Socks with sch logo can only be bought at the uniform shop at Toa Payoh when you buy ur sch uniform later. These socks are thicker and longer than the usual ones. Both my DDs don't wear MCS socks as they find them too warm.
If its not compulsory to wear school socks, think I'd rather wear my own that is thinner...

Hi wimdils,

e letter nv states wat e affected areas are. It only indicates add'l facilities (eg. redesigned classrms, band rm, dance studio, performing arts studio, outdr jogging path, indr sports hall) aft upgrading. πŸ•Ί Most of it will b built on e existing plot of land whr e student care ctr is.

There's no mention of e canteen or toilets being upgraded though. πŸ˜‚
