IIJ, I like your post, \"In His plan, in His time\". :goodpost:
      Thanks!!

During 2B balloting, my deacon and his wife had a huge surprise. They went in with faith and their child's name was not called out until the very last slot. The # that rep their child just dropped out from the ball even before principal turned it. They said, \"If God has that place for you, even when there is only 1 (left), it will be yours.\"

Also, the NMOS training qns are not exactly similiar to the ones from the MO books. Jennifer, can you advise on this? Thx.

So far, the training seems to be teaching in advance basic technique. Not seeing real MO qns yet.

Let me report at year end πŸ˜„

        Thanks, Jennifer! πŸ˜„ πŸ˜„

Oh yes, I agree fully. When my dd's name was pulled out second last then, somehow, amidst that jubilant moment, I still managed to listen out to the last name being called. I was thinking of naming my no.3 THAT name for a long time but couldn't get an answer from above, so when that name was called, I believe God answered my prayer there and then in His own special way. This girl, whose name was called last, was in my dd's class since P2. PH is blessed with her in the school.

All the best to those balloting. Everything has already been in the Plan. :rahrah: :rahrah:

            Hi Jennifer,

what advance techiques? Can quote some?? I use the sasmo books which I bought during registration for the test and they gave me the past yr paper and told me that P3/4 questions are almost simliar standards to some questions in the set of past yr papers...so based on that little info...I agar the range of topics to focus on and teach my boy myself at home with selected questions from the books lor..I have a few MO books from different publisher over the past 3 yrs and they are pretty much the same but the sasmo ones is much closer to the actual paper..they provide more than 1 model answer which allows the child to decide which one he can apply better... difficulty wise...I find it ok lah...so long as u understand the concept u can do any question of similar nature lor.. though some can get really challeging..

Less than 24 hours now. All the Best!!
Scary, the one thing I wish to share with you is .........

For the charcoal, pls get those with hollow core. They burn better.

For the starter, don't get those house brands, they don't start well.

If you're using kerosene to spread the fire, pls let it burn for at least 60 min before barbequing the food. It's for health reason.

If you're bringing chicken wings, don't forget to buy the wooden stick skewers so that they can spread out the wings and the chicken can be cooked evenly.

Let me see ...... one delicious BBQ or one good DIL?

              Hmm, thinking, thinking ..... :scratchhead:

Ok, I choose one good DIL.

Scary, looks like IJJ dd2 is not going to surrender her seat then. Sorry, a good DIL is better than a good BBQ. πŸ˜‚ :siam:

It's a case of damned if you do, damned if you don't. There's just no pleasing everyone. The moment we encourage the notion that PVs should have guaranteed places, we go down the slippery road of no return.

hehe.. recently I was told, if u want a guaranteed place in Phase 2b or 2c, the only way is to visit the principal with a cheque book... dunno if this applies to Pei Hwa though... :censored:

                  This is :censored: :censored: :censored:
Now it is even more difficult to \"implement\" that than 10-20yrs ago.

                      Congrats and welcome.

:rahrah: Yes indeed it is great news to be in PHPS, however, when you are finally in, you would want to get out... you will soon be freaked out by the system and the teachers.... you should have been at the back gate at term 1 & 2. many girls cried and simply refused to go to school coz the teachers shouted in class & scolded kids with \"I dont care...\" \"SHUT-UP\" etc etc... BTPS seems more a happier place... πŸ˜“

I think it is teacher dependant. My dd enjoys her time in PH a lot.
