He is a GREAT Principal. I've seen him with kids before. He can stand up in front of a group and make them laugh till their bellies ache whilst still communicating an important life lesson. I used to pass in front of his school at lunchtime and overhear his hilarious lectures to the students. They were so funny and the kids were so joyful that once or twice, I stopped to listen in. He is amazing.

You can hear his lectures from outside the school?

Yup! Their hall of some sort is parallel to the pedestrian walkway that leads to the hawker centre. There is a railing... a big drain... a fence... som skinny plants, then he and his kids. The kids are laughing so hard that you just can't help but pay attention. The sound of kids laughing with abandon is a very magical one.

This is so refreshing to hear. He obviously loves the kids and is not afraid to show it. Imagine how many lives he has changed by making his students love going to school.

A Principal who can capture the attention of his students is magical indeed. Imagine the many life lessons he can impart to them.

When the principal goes the extra mile for the kids, it has impact on the kids and they will remember him and his lessons imparted fondly when they leave the school. These are the people who will make a difference in the lives of our next generation!!

Teehee! He had an effect on me!! I almost fell in the drain listening to him and chuckling to myself... but it is also because I was trying to take a cutting of one of his skinny plants, and had to perch on the edge of the drain.

I also heard of a principal from a neighbourhood secondary school going to a student’s house to bring him for breakfast when the student was always late for lessons. That’s his way of ensuring the students turns up for school.
