2012 P1 Registration Exercise for 2013 In-Take
-
hi Lindsay,
please check your PSLE certificate now.
does it have the Rosyth school name printed inside the PSLE cert ?
if Yes, you're safe. Tomorrow morning, call up Rosyth Principal to confirm. Talk to Principal of Rosyth who has the ultimate authority of power to decide crucial matter - not any other admin staff who has no authority. The sooner you settle this, the earlier you get peace of mind. If not, this thing always 'ding dong' at the back of your mind.
in the event however that your PSLE cert doesn't have Rosyth school name printed on it (example: for those sat for PSLE many years ago in the late 1970s), then go down personally MOE Customer Service Office main line at Buona Vista.
Request: is it possible to request for a copy of the PSLE cert WITH Rosyth school name printed on it ? i think pay about $10.
depending on the year you graduate from your PSLE, MOE will dig out all their past archived records, check to confirm if what you said is true. If you honestly graduate from Rosyth primary school in that year you specify and it's true, then they will re-print a copy for you, with the school name printed onto the cert. Then you are safe. -
Lindsay:
Even if you went to 6 different schools and you have kept your report books from these 6 different schools, you can register under P2A in any of the 6 schools provided you produce that school's report book as evidence   :evil:I'm crossing my fingers thar nothing will change as well. I never knew how stressful this is until now.
I have a problem though. I am an old girl from rosyth but I have studied there from P3 to P6 instead of from P1. Does that mean I don't qualify for 2A2? -
Thanks so much phtthp for such a detailed answer.
So, it doesnโt matter how many yrs u were with the school as long as you did PSLE with the school? I was so worried because I spent only 4 yrs there.
I do have Rosyth printed on my PSLE cert! -
hi Lindsay,
then you're safe, since Rosyth name is printed bold & clear on your PSLE cert. Yes, you can apply under P2A(2).
anyway, to give yourself ultimate peace of mind, no harm calling up Principal of Rosyth tomorrow to confirm ? Her answer will make you smile. After that, you may come back here, inform & share with us what P said ... in case there are others in similar situation to yours, also getting nervous ?
actually, you can also move up to P2A(1), if you desire.
Rosyth telephone number is here:-

Phtthp, very sad and touching story. Actually most parents here are like the authorโs mum. We ask lots of questions and worry because we love our children so much. I just pray tt all our children will feel our love for them.
Mummyo, thanks for your reply as well. Iโm so surprised tt if I change schools multiple times, I can take any report book to qualify for 2A2! Thatโs a big advantage! -
mummyo:
 are you going to plan ahead for your child and send him\\her to 6 different schools all over Singapore? :siam:
