I just read this article the 2nd time and this time it really made me cry, maybe I am going to be in the same situation tmr?? I don't know, I just find this cruel... it is really cruel... :gloomy:

I remember that fateful day at NY. At first, my DH ws not nervous and even brought newspaper to read in case of boredom :roll: . When our DS was picked, both my DH and I put up our hands immediately (never been so spontaneous in any classroom b4 ). After that everything became a blur. We were so happy that that we signed the PTA or Parent Teacher Assoc enrolement form, bought school magazines exhibited there, etc on the spot without a second thought.
After that, a friend with kid in P3 laughed at our signing of PTA form on the spot. Apparently, that was PTA's way of getting members since not all parents join the PTA. This friend, for one, did not join. Her DS got in by Ph 2B (PV). But the fee was $60+, so it was ok for us...

I think we celebrated after that!! It was like a dream then, hee, can't remember clearly now.
