Hello mommies, I’m an AC-sian. So, ACS (Primary) and ACS (Barker) are affiliated to ACS (Barker) and ACS (Independent) only accepts those with t-score above their high COP. I think last year’s was 250. Of course, both are affiliated to ACJC. ACS (Primary) to me is more disciplined and hence more academic while Barker is traditionally more boisterous so more ‘naughty’ and not as good in their MT. Hope this helps to clear the air…somewhat.[/quote]

Thanks for the clarification. I guess my friend was from ACS Independent, which explained why he could not register his ds for ACS as an old boy.

Tinkerbelle, 10 girls to RGS, that is really quite impressive I must say! All the best to your dd for PSLE, and I hope she will be one of those this year to make it to RGS, if that is your aim for her :rahrah:

                Thanks michyms, 🙂

I cannot help but smile when I see some of the parents on this forum talking about aging :). I have a daughter who is going to be 22 this year and now my 2nd daughter is going to Primary 1 in 2012 :rotflmao: ! And yes, from both daughters are from the same father :)! :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: (Someone asked once asked me if they are from the same father!) :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

Yes, children do grow up very, very fast :).

Your eldest one is independent now, so less stress already, so now just have to take care of #2 :boogie: The rest of us are only sending #1 to P1, so long long long way more to go :scared:

Thanks for the info hoylj, this is really helpful.I've been asking around what's the different of ACS (Primary) & ACS (Baker) and the independent...kind of confusing.

michyms, yes, i'm methodist but stay > 2km from ACS primary..guess if i don't move to somewhere nearer, no way to get in that school liao :nailbite:

Niccc, you need to find a place in between MCS and ACS if that is the case! Novena?
