Orientation on the 11 nov. Can feedback to the principal.
Anyone know the reason why the morning session is on wed instead of fri . -

As slepland mentioned in an earlier post, it may be too late to raise the issue then as the school needs time to re-adjust the timing and resources. So need to action now.Orientation on the 11 nov. Can feedback to the principal.

Thats great liling, for now we just need as many signatures as we can find.
Dear all 2012 P1 & P2 parents,
we hope to have your support for the change for Wednesday's morning classes to be shifted to Friday.
1. Long weekend for anyone considering a short trip out of Singapore.
2. Malay pupils can go off earlier as it is Friday.
3. No logistical nightmare in the middle of the week..
We just need proposer & seconder for P1 2011 intake preferably old boys/girls. We hope to gather a team of 10 or more other signatures split between p1 & p2 parents. Submit to principal, cc moe & school advisory committee. By the time the issue get ding dong around due to chain of command, 5 months should be enough to put this localised issue thru. If we do it in November we can all forget about it.
Hope all lend a hand for this to happen. Thank you all for your time. -
Hi, parents of P1-P6/2012's students out there, if you come across this forum or knows anyone that falls into this group, please be encouraged to put up a post so that we can constantly keep ourselves updated on our children's progress at school for a better learning environment.

The Principal of Yangzheng Primary School invites P1 2012 parents for a dialogue session to explain the school’s culture and hence its practices, for e.g, Wonderful Wednesday and Modular CCA. If interested, please register yourself with the school clerk, Pearl, at 6284298 ext 284 ,by latest Mon, 15 Aug 2011. A date & time will then be set for the dialogue session to take place when a group of interested parents has been formed. Thank you.

Wow, haven’t visited this thread for week plus, and there’s been quite a number of posts (comparing to the past year plus), and even one from YZPS…
I’m ok with changing the wed session to fri, but would like it even more if the school can change to single-session next year. now DD is in P2, and will go to P3 next year and be in morning session. DS is going to P1 then, and will be in afternoon session… This will mean logistical problem and it would last for 2 yr… by which time DD will be in P5…
I’m curious to know what plans are there for YZPS to change to single-session.
