        Pen88n:
For all parents who has just been thru P2C ballot and has to go thru P2C Supp soon,

I'm sorry to hear of your disappointment and having to go thru the balloting process. As I said in my earlier post, every ballot will have happy and sad outcome. Fate plays a part. You have done your best and choose the best option for your kid at that point in time. It's time you move on and decide on your next best choice in P2C Supp.

For P2C supp, it is best that you look thru the MOE website to get a list of schools with available vacancies for this phase NOW! Note down the available vacancies. Then check the following:
        1. Past ballot history for P2C Supp for the school
        2. Make a gauge of \"unsuccessful #s from nearby school\" which will likely to apply for this school
        3. Check up your chance based on your distance from the school
        4. Look up the school website to know more about their programme, achievements, CCAs, etc.
        5. Talk to neighbours with kids in that school, or visit the school (even if you cannot enter school compound, you can observe the school kids' behaviour just after dismissal time or around the compound) to have a feel of the school

If you do not want to go thru the balloting process again, it is best to choose schools with no past ballot history for P2C Supp, and within 1km to increase your chance. You should have at hand a 1st choice, a 2nd choice, and maybe even a 3rd choice if your area is having overwhelming unsuccessful #s from popular schools nearby.

Monitor the numbers of applicants for P2C Supp registration, and if needed, you may have to withdraw and apply to next choice, etc.

Hope this helps and Good Luck to all in P2C Supp!!!

        Mummy Pen88n! :snuggles: :hugs:

This post must be ENLARGED and put at the KSP FORUM HOME page for all to read! :celebrate: :hi5: :goodpost: :lovesite:

I hope not to go through balloting again. It was nerve wrecking and chest thumping! Was an emotional roller coaster. But I know for the fact that my 2nd choice is also a 2nd choice for many who didn't succeed in Phase 2C balloting. So I will have to fall back on 3rd choice if I see the former one is being over-subscribed.

I just hate to go through this period now and am sure many of the unsuccessful applicants are too. Why can't I enjoy a good weekend and the upcoming National Day holiday? Still have to torment myself one more round next week...Hiaz...................
:snuggles: yes, I can only imagine the frustration.

Since you have it all clearly planned out already, why not just leave it to the higher being and enjoy the holidays. It is easier said than done but sometimes, all you can do is plan and what happens next.. whatever will be, will be.. JMHO.. hope I did not offend anyone..

Poppy, good luck for your 1st choice! Should not be an issue based on past ballot history and seeing the #s this year too! Go sleep, eat, and be merry this weekend and over the hols. Let's not dwell in the unpleasant ballot!!!

We are unsuccessful for chij olqp too. My girl was no 15 and nos 14 and 16 were called! Never felt so unlucky in my life! Was so sad really wanna cry! Now gotta get myself together and get ready for 2c.

I just regretted didnt pv for chij. Didnt plan this whole thing properly! So guess itis my own doing.

Now gotta study the other available school stats and decide on the next step. Most likely going for bukit timah pri but am kinda worried cos am sure many who were not successful will also go for it. Dont think wanna go for balloting again! Too scary!
