back in action. Its Aug now... my girl is half of her P1 journe,. so how all parents think abt the school? Recently, noticed this year P1 registration response was among our CCK area has increased! Stress...

my girl still wishes to go to her "dream" school - YTPS, but feedback seems to be getting "not so good", and KPS feedback seems good. so i’m in a dilema whether to change or not, esp I still hv 2 younger kids…

My girl is going quite well in school and only recently term 3, school had changed their form teacher. I dunno whats happening and quite stress with the new arrangement but anyway I hope it will be better...

Yes same here I have a sudden thought of transfering my girl to YTPS next year Pri 2 but there are many things that cross my mind...if it is a right action. Last year I met my ex-neighbour whose son is a pri 3 YTPS complained to me abt the teacher never prepared or complied her son prreport card. They juz dump the pile of papers to her and heard the standard drop. dunno if its true.

I think how good the top school top depends on how diligent is the child. Even thought Kranji is not \"people choice\" school but I'm sure our 1st kids will do all the best in this school and hopefully bring up the PSLE standard in 2016.

Don't worry too much.Believe in urself and ur children. Haha..

my girl takes the school bus, but I drop by almost everyday during recess.

my girl wasn’t doing as expected, or maybe we set our standard too high?! But, her addition and subtraction is getting from bad to worse, hiaz.

you have only 1 kid? you stay near KPS?
We’re staying at CCK Cres, so it’s nearer, and more convenient to go YTPS than KPS. Also, with 3 kids… I’ll prefer a school that’s more convenient to travel to, in case of rain, ECA, etc…

Which class is your girl in? Mine’s in 1I.

I have 2 kids. My girl is the eldest and her brother will join her in 2 years time.
Yes, I'm staying near at KPS, walking distance. CCK crescent is near.why need a bus?walking distance right?

She is in class 1G.

Near but not convenient, esp if it rains, and I have to bring 2 kids to school. My #2 is studying at CCK Bible Church Kindy (nursery), so I don't want to lug 2 kids with 2 bags up and down the bus.

Any mummies with kids going to KJP next year?


My gal is being balloted out of Southview & we registered her in KJP. Very sad but lucky to read some very good reviews here before i go into depression. She's still got 2 little brothers so I'm quite worried.

Any mummies can help to tell me more about the school? How's the standard like. Me so worried abt the canteen food too coz my gal is quite choosy. **Sigh** Kids nowadays are very pampered lah.

BTW how does the student care centre charges nowadays? What do the kids do there huh? Pardon me ya, coz she's my 1st kid & I'm really blur. If they charges are high, I might as well stay home, can guide in her homework too. Mmm.. maybe I can consider doing childsitting service too

The canteen food is quite standard. Noodles and rice etc. They only have 30mins break or maybe shorter times cos sometimes lessons end late. Don't worry too much becos school will arrange a buddy system (Pri 5) for a week to guide your girl during recess time. Parents will only advised to visit 2 days to check on their child.

Abt the student care, the estimate cost will be $300 ++. Inclusive of breakfast, lunch and assessment books. They will be occupied with activities before school. They have reading session, do assessments, teachers will give spelling etc. During holiday there will be excursions ( outdoor actitivites ), games etc.
