My DD got in.
It was nerve-wracking experience. :faint:
Last one was Ballot ID 0001 and it was twins.
Actually, they only got in cuz last ballot picked before them was 2nd ballot of the child who already got a place.
I wonder how these parents feel... ?

Good thing the twins were picked last, that means the school needs to create 1 extra palce for the 2nd twin. Can u imagine if the twins were picked earlier and occupied 2 places, many parents will be very upset.

My friend went to ballot in NCPS and before the balloting starts , they will show them their childrens names and ID number on the projection (Either 1 or 2 slips ,one top and one bottom).,then fold in one by one .

She told me that she thought she saw ID 0001 was given 2 ballot slips. She said that she thought the principal told them that twins if chose go in together can only have one ballot slip(Both names on one slip). :?

Anyway, I think she is lucky as the slips being pick up was the first slip( it shown No.1 of 2 ), if not maybe because of the school error, she will be disqualified for this case.

The school didn’t make any mistake here. According to MOE regulations, twins have e option of balloting separately or together. For citizens, it means 2 ballot slips EACH if they decided to ballot separately, or 2 ballot slips with both names if they chose to do so together. The difference is if they do so separately with 4 ballot slips, only e one being picked will get in, unlike e 2 ballot slips option where both will get in if any of e slips are picked. So in this case, the parents opted for e latter option, and got it. Fair & square, it seems.

Although I didn’t experience the actual balloting situation, I can imagine the excitement atmosphere over there.


My heart really goes to those parents tat did not successful in securing the seat. Yesterday I received a call fr my friend n she didn’t make it in the balloting. In the last balloting, she didn’t make it in P2B. Can imagine the double disappointment really hit her like a ton of bricks. I hope she can get into AGPS in 2C supp.

My dd1 loves dancing. Maybe wld let her join dance club. This alumni activities r not compulsory, right? I heard tat P1 n P2 do not hv cca.
