My daughter will be at Yew Tee P1 next year. More to come...any good recommendation for Student care centre in Yew Tee area? Was thinking of either Growing Up or Pro-teach..Is anyone of your kids in either one of these 2 centres? Please share. :))

Suppose you are one of the parents suceeding in securing a place in YTPS P1 next year? During the orientation day, normally in Nov, the school will provide the school bus operators information (think there are two or three), and you could even register instantly with the operators who will be in the school attending to any queries on the day..

As for which p1 class is with better teachers, it's really hard to say, as it changes every year. But based on my girl's experience, they tend to keep the same form teacher to progress together with the whole class from P1 to P2. If there is no change to the system, P1 is grouped based on mixed ability as there is no test beforehand to verify their ability. Hope this helps.

My son will also be at Yew Tee P1 next year:). Also looking for a good student care. I have more headache as my younger son is now at a childcare centre in Keat Hong. So might need to look for another childcare centre near the student care centre or vice versa.

Yes, I have checked out both the student care and childcare. General impressions are quite ok. Just a little unused to the student care being at the basement, while the child care fees are rather steep - $1,000/mth.
