i nag at my 9year old more than my 5year old cos the latter will remember every word that i tell him (and whatever conversation he overheard that is talking about him; and for his case, when i do nag, it is usually out of habit .) while the 9year old will say 'ok' to me and then the next moment, forget all about what i told him to do! :stupid:

I had some catching up to do, I think about 5 pages. Laughed from pg 151 to 155. You guys are so funny.

ectanz, no regrets being SAHM. not even when it actually makes me a bigger nag. being at home more means i nag more, definitely. and being the one who does all the housework now (compared to in the past being a FTWM living with ils and having helper), of course i get angrier at kids when they make a mess or are forgetful… inevitable.

so mommies, when our kids reach sec sch stage, time for us to find something to do? like part-time work? or would u still prefer to be full time SAHM?

my starting sentence to my dh is, ‘i dun wanna say so many times, but…’

smtimes, really fed up and i tell my boy: mummy is really very tired of asking u so many times. im not gg to talk anymre…

then i proceed to do my own stuff or go into the rm and shut the door…enough is enough.

if we dun nag, u think our dh will do it?? will they take the initiative to make them bath, brush teeth, do hmwork, sleep??

regrets? only when im supervising hmwork. im not the patient type. afew times, i broke down in tears.i really dread wkends when we need to do his sch work or phonics. im the get-it-over-and -done type. he’s the dilly dally type. every word he writes, he will have a long story to tell or he writes it funny so i have to correct him and erase the mistakes. till i cannot take it and threw his worksheets away. then he guai guai pick it up and completed it by himself.

now he only k1! i really dread when he goes to primary sch where the sch work gets heavier.

I have to nag ALL THE TIME...to have meals, bathe, brush teeth, get homework done, sleep and move the butt   It's so damn tiring...and that sickening hubby doesn't help but contribute by getting the kids to watch TV when it is NOT the time. There was several times I walked straight to the TV & switched it off when they refused to listen. Really 气头上. That sickening MAN doesn't help at all.

                    Janet,

Time to lock up the TV!
it’s bad enough having to nag at the kids, one shouldn’t have to nag at the hubbies!
