Hi decided to send son to creative o after reading the feedbacks here…n today is the 2nd day of my son’s playgroup…what i can say is this school is awesome！on his fist day, the main 2 activities were water play and flour dough making. today’s was movement session. the kids enjoyed themselves so much and learned a lot fr the process! n i am surprised that the Jan intake kids are quite well behaved and independent, considering their tender age.(my son only got in in march cos he was not toilet trained.) my observation these 2 days are the teachers and aunties are dedicated and patient. School compound is big, and they have a big theatre! I am so glad my son is in good hands.

Hi, Caydenmummy, have you visit the school yet? Suggest you visit the school to know about the school. I almost wanted to register my boy for N1 next year but he is not toilet trained yet. They only accept when yr kid is toilet trained.

I was recommened by my neighbour to register my boy in Creative-O, she told me when you visited this school you will never think about others! I also read a lot good reviews from this forum and ready to register my boy there, but when I called the school, they told me no vacancy and the waiting list is very long and don't want to accept new waiting list :frustrated: .....

May I know normally how long need to wait? My boy is 2009 year one!

My boy is also born in 2009! I suggest you visit the school and then discuss about waiting list issue after the visit. When I visited in June, the centre in charge told me long wait list, asked me to be on waiting list and they will get back to me. Eventually I did not because my boy is not toilet trained yet… Your boy toilet trained already??

I agreed I am very impressed with the school after visiting, esp their K1 & 2 classes. In K2, they visit old folks home every month!

Yes, my boy is 21 moths and has been toilet trained, he needs wear diaper at night though! I am so proud of him!

I called to visit school and register my boy, but the teacher told me long waiting list and no need to register, so sad…

Actually I also wanted to enroll my older girl (year 2007 one), but seems too late. Teacher told me can try for my boy after I requested again and again. Hopefully my boy can get in next year!

Yes, the waiting lists is forever long. My girl got in because of her brother. Yes K2 visits old folks home and they will have a 3 days 2 nights camp in St John’s island. A short segment of their camp was screen in Channel 8 two Sundays ago.

However, when I went to their website, it seems outdated for a few years, last updated was on 2005?!?!

The principal is very involved in the school as she is also the owner, so probably she has no time to update her website. It is one of the better childcare centres around.

Your children were in Creative O 2010 K2 Ocean class and Garden class while my son was in Waterfall class. Glad that we all felt the children had a great time that year. I wonder if there are any other Waterfall parents here?

I have a younger son in Creative O Nursury this year and i am looking forward to the class list for 2012 K1 to be out soon. Hong laoshi, previously Waterfall’s chinese teacher, is back next year and my younger son will have a 1/3 chance of being taught by her also.

I am guessing i know "bear ho" as both our children are same year in Creative O. if my guess is correct, your daughter is in Lavender class this year.

Lastly for parents concern about character building and non-structured learning in a encouraging environment for their children, Creative O is a the place to be.
